THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE ANASAZI
FLUTE NEW
BOOK
|
|

|
|
The
Anasazi flute does not
give up its secrets
easily. Its sound,
however, is
unforgettable. Until now
finding information
about how to play the
Anasazi flute has proven
to be almost as
difficult as learning to
play one. Very little
information exists.
Virtuoso Anasazi flute
performer Scott August
guides you through all
the aspects of mastering
this marvelous
instrument and giving
you a head start to
begin playing like a
pro! Learn how to
produce your first
sounds, discover its
many scales, and explore
techniques to quickly
improve your playing
while learning the
fascinating history of
this captivating
instrument and its first
virtuoso,
Kokopelli.
Fully
illustrated with over 18
photos and
diagrams

"I
just had to thank you for your
book on the Anasazi flute. I had
been reluctant to buy one even
though I loved the sound. I had
heard how hard it was to play and
how long it could take to get
your first note.
I
finally bought an Anasazi flute
and your book about it. With your
instructions and photographs, I
played my first note the very
first day! I know you saved me
weeks or even months of
frustration. I'm so encouraged by
my early success that I know I'll
continue playing."

Journey
to INAFA
The
International Native American Flute
Association (INAFA) convention 2008 was
earlier this month.
The
convention was held in Eau Claire, WI and
many of the top flute players and makers
were there. It was a great event and a
great chance to make new friends and
reconnect with old ones.

to a time and a place amongst the
ancients. A truly beautiful piece of work
