	Description: Learn how to turn your small ideas into songs. This class will focus on Song Writing for the Native American flute. This will be a Hands On class with a lot of playing. We will cover: Techniques for expanding your small ideas into songs. Playing from the Heart and the Head. Composing a song using the techniques learned. Recording each class member's song. Critical analysis and development. Self Feedback. Each class member will receive an Audio CD of the Class Member's Songs [1]. Please note: This class will not cover How to Play the Native American flute. Beginners are welcome, but we will not learn playing techniques. Date: Saturday, May 20th, 2006 Location: Santa Margarita United Methodist Church 30605 Avenida de Las Flores Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, 92688 Directions Time: 10am - 4pm Fee: $ 90 per person postmarked on or before May 6th, 2006 $120 per person postmarked after May 6th, 2006 $150 per person on May 29th, 2006 A deposit of 50% ($45.00) is needed to hold your space, which is limited.
